This mid-level course covers analytical solutions of ordinary and partial differential equations relevant to physics. Topics include Frobenius and Fourier series methods. The course covers homogeneous, non-homogeneous, and partial differential equations, as well as applications in various branches of physics. It also covers modeling physical situations and finding general solutions of initial and boundary value problems. The course includes an oral presentation component.
