تستعرض المادة فاعلية استخدام التكنولوجيا الجوالة في التعليم. يهدف الى توظيف التكنولوجيا الجوالة (البرمجيات والاجهزة) لغرض توفير تطبيقات استخدام الاجهزة الجوالة كالهواتف الذكية والحواسيب اللوحية في مختلف المجالات في التعليم والتعلم بالاضافة الى بيئات العمل. سيقوم طلبة المادة بتحليل وتقييم مكامن الضعف والقوة في التطبيقات المتوفرة في شبكة الانترنت من خلال استخدام تطبيقات الحاسوب مفتوحة المصدر والتي تتطلب معرفة قليلة بقواعد برمجة الحواسيب. سيتعلم طلبة المادة كيفية تصميم وتطوير التطبيقات الجوالة ونشرها على مختلف أنظمة التشغيل مثل iOS و Android من خلال ارشاد مدرس المادة والملازم بالاضافة الى استخدام بعض تطبيقات الويب التفاعلية.

This course explores the power of using mobile technologies in education. It endeavors to employ the mobile technologies, software and hardware, to offer flexible approaches of using mobiles to support students in various settings such as teaching, learning, and work. The students will evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of different mobile applications (apps) available on marketplace. Open source resources will be used that require little knowledge of computer programming. Students will learn how to create mobile apps running on different platforms (i.e. Android and iOS) through instructor guidance, hands-on activities, and web-based documentation as well as participating in online/offline discussions, and sharing resources.
