LANC 2007 is the first LANC course students take after satisfactory completion of Level 6 IELP/ EEALS law major. The course aims at improving students’ English in the field of law by exposing them to variety of legal texts and terminologies. The four English skills are integrated and the activities are designed to foster essential learning skills especially in reading and writing in an engaging context. Students get involved in learning by working individually, participating in group discussion and expand their reading knowledge through extra authentic readings. Writing is practiced in the context of law while focusing on the improvement of the essential writing skills.
